Easy setup Clean looking Easy management

Sets up easy and is supported by the Linux nut package. Display is easy to read from a high angle. Many configuration options, more than I'll ever need.

I love this device! I have mine set up to shut down 5 minutes after the power goes out, then I can use the remaining battery life to power LED lamps in my house. It tells you how much power is left on a easy to read LED display on the front. The software that comes with it is absolutely awesome. You input your cost of kWh into it and it calculates your power cost from what is plugged into the backup. It also tells you total energy used, any power surges or dips, blackouts, etc. If you have dirty or unstable power, this is a must-have.

Nicely-sized, great appearance, quiet and functionally effective. Great for most non-gamer desktops. Great software, easy to install and set up. Informative power panel.

Silent operation when grid power is on. (Not all UPS's are silent. Some drone all the time.) Fans only come on when grid power goes off. Also, the unit comes with rack mount hardware including a RACK SHELF! Controls are easy to use and graphic display makes sense.

Powering some networking equipment, so far no problems. Decided to not use the rackmount because of the weight.

Short story, it works! Purchased about a year ago. Couple of weeks ago, mains power bounced up and down 4 times in 60 seconds, then went out for good for a few hours. UPS seems to have about 20 minutes of power at a 250 watt draw, or thereabouts. When UPS battery got to 50%, I had it trigger shutdown of the CPU. That all triggered very nicely, got a clean shutdown, everything worked as expected. Yay! BTW -- this is with Linux, Debian Stable, using a USB cable between CPU and computer. On the UPS, I mostly left everything at factory defaults, so my app is simple, undemanding.

- doesn't necessarily require software to check it's operational status, has its own LCD display menu - large enough for a PC and medium size flat screen TV

Just a great product. I was debating between this and the Tripplite. I am very happy I went with APC. The product is very well made and the cloud as well as local interface to the unit is excellent. I was worried before delivery about given its short chassis how it would handle in the rack using only the front rails and the came up with a really nice brace for under the unit that fits securely and easily handles the weight of the unit. It is also dead silent which for me is a must as it is within my office and quiet matters.

The Eco mode is great for mitigating ghost power. Three peripherals can be plugged in to this section on the UPS, when units detects a power down via a USB connection, it cuts power to those 3 plugs. So, know my speakers and monitors don't draw standby power!

Length: it's shorter than others so it will mount fine in 2 post racks using included heavy-duty mounting brackets. Price: excellent value for your dollar. Tons of features you would not expect for a device under $1000. Quiet: does not make a horrible racket like other UPS in its class. Just a periodic chirp and light fan sound. Powerful: 20A means you can put more load on it and it will charge faster.
