Its a LEFT angle cable and works great on my Asus M3n78 PRO. I had 2 SATA ports covered by my 9800 GTX card... With 1 Right angle and 1 Left angle Sata cable, I was able to free both up.

Sturdy construction, thick sleeve, nice clasps, rounded.

Defiantly does what I need it to do. I love the latch feature.

Tight, quality connectors

And I should know because I'm the doctor. These reach just fine from the back of the 8 HD's I have in my case to the Mother Board. Some might be just a bit tight, but they hold okay, and I see no stress points. They cleaned up my server case and the NAS box I've built so the airflow is now excellent. Another thing I like about these is that they are rather stiff but pliant. So not only do they not sag, but they also hold whatever shape I give them, so they go straight into the MB and straight into the back of the drives with whatever curves and other lines needed to get them to line up. Also, the clips (latches) are not overly stiff, so they tend to stay plugged in, and when I want to unplug them, they come loose just fine.

What can you say about a cable? It works. =)

Does exactly as advertised, converts standard SATA data and SATA power connections into 1 connection that can be used with laptop standard spec slot loading and tray based disc drives.

Very useful when you are moving drives around on laptops. This extension can stay plugged in under the laptop and you can connect the drive without having to flip over the system to get access.

Great cable; Very inexpensive.

I know when it comes to SATA cables, pretty much anything goes. But these cables are really well built and the quality of the materials are superb! Great price, locking mechanism fits snug and perfectly. I do recommend them.

Just what the doctor ordered to take some of the load off my SSD by attaching a second drive with this Y power cable.. The second drive holds the pagefile, temporary files, and most of my data. So the SSD just cruises along and should last forever. This setup permits the use of old 128 GB SSDs, since all they hold is the operating system, and the system is quite a bit faster than with a hard disk drive.
