At 4K, 100% GPU limited Low heat output compared to the 14900k, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE operates at low RPMs, CPU nowhere near thermal limits.

CPU performs well, stable, temps are not an issue with a be quite Pure Rock Pro 3. Upgraded from a Intel i5-6500...... So probably not fair to compare.

- Fast in almost every game - Perfect dual-use gaming/production CPU - Even with bad early adoption drivers/firmware, still trades blows with 13900k or outright beats it.

Gaming with this cpu has been a real treat. Most games Ive played hasnt been able to push the i7-12700k to its limits, and Im talking games like Tarkov, Apex, etc.. for that reason it stays moderately cool with my Corsair AIO cooler, and I am positive a big air cooler would perform just as good to keep it cool. The efficiency cores and performance cores are a cool new idea to processing power, and its nice to have for having multiple things open at once. Ive only gamed on an amd 8350x and an i5-9600k in my life up until now and I can see the difference in what this cpu can make for what I use a computer for. I wish I could have gotten the DDR5 model motherboard but didnt want to wait.

Fast and stable on the MSI mag z790 tomahawk WiFi MB.

Excellently priced, with a very high core clock. Excellent at blazing through 15-20 tabs, and as a pro it never gets HOT.

- Didn't lag on Fortnite

E cores make it more efficient in light workloads, P cores a huge boost in gaming

Easy to set up and use. Bonus, it came with a fan.

This thing has all the computing power you need today!

This processor is great for those who have a very busy home PC/server that needs to do everything at once. It's not the fastest raw speed per-core of the 7000 series processors for gaming (that's the 7800 X3d), but in terms of overall compute strength you can't bead the 7950X within the 7000 series. Mine runs a webserver, minecraft server, media server, and a lot more. I've put it to the test with some heavy multi-threaded workloads and it churns through them like butter. The automatic overclocking is also very nice and since it is based on thermals if you are running a single-threaded job by itself you will see the clock really ramp up and run that process at a high speed (5.25 ghz for me with a stock air cooler). If I'm running 32 threads at 100%, the clocks will still run around 4.85 Ghz.

6 cores 12 t, 35 Buffer it Does 4 K No Problem with 32 G ram 6800xt. AMD all the Way always this comes with a cooler. For just the Inter N. Games NO Way but Any Pip Cooler will work for 4K I Always take my Door Off and set my PC by a Window with a Fan save Me $$$ FREE Cooler 8 $ window fan that IT i have Not Lost a PC in over 25 years by doing this. The Whole PC stays Cold

Overkill for any sort of gaming but so are basically every CPU on the market atm. Good value for performance if you get it on a good sale like I did way under the price of its AMD competitors. Can be undervolted quite heavily and stay stable reducing power consumption and thermals way below what AMD runs at but reviewers are dumb and never do this for some reason despite knowing it's been a MOBO issue for years but blame the CPU. Can handle insane voltages/wattage if you really want to push the clock speeds and got the cooling for it.

Super fast and reasonably priced on sale.

fast and efficient i am playing all my games on ultra again, paired with a 7900 gre on a z790 chipset along with g.skill ddr5 at 5600

I don't need gaming or other heavy lifting for a CPU. I just needed a cool, quiet, modern platform that will last me for a good number of years. I chose Intel over AMD as I find Intel's Quick Sync hardware capabilities to be better in my application for a media server. This CPU fit the bill. It's the cheapest option to get into a socket 1851 platform at this time with no budget oriented Ultra 3, Pentiums, or Celeron chips available. Having 10 cores available is nice to have, but a bit overkill for my application. I am pleased with the CPU. It stays cool and quiet. The stock cooler has a copper core and is VERY quiet! It does everything I need.

Got the new CPU the next day. Although I know its just a rebranded i9-13900K, Newegg's delivery service was exceptional and the product works flawlessly.
