I switches from a passive cooler to an active cooler on my SuperMicro server. The stock fans were LOUD. It'd be fine in a server room/farm, but not in a home. This fan was easily swapped in and now I don't have to hear a constant whine coming from the basement.

A clean diffusion of the light and synced with ease to my water cooler and computer case lights. -They're very quiet with good airflow -You can buy reversed or normal depending on airflow direction and it keeps the look cohesive and balanced.

6 year warranty. Very quiet. Great airflow and reliable for years. Better color (gray) than the unattractive (odd brown) color of the normal and more expensive "premium" versions. Buying and installing cheaper fans isn't cost-effective if you sacrifice components due to fan failure. These are much quieter than most so-called silent or quiet fans. I've tried many others and they either had poor airflow or were noisey. These are great long-term replacements for other items like thermo-electric coolers that come with a sleeve-bearing fan that lasts maybe 6 months. They just work for years without need for further attention.
