When Does This Cable Work?
This cable is a passive adapterit does NOT convert digital HDMI signals to analog RCA. It only works when your source device already has built-in HDMI to AV conversion capabilities. Compatible devices include:
- Certain DVD / Blu-ray players with HDMI output that also output analog video
- Some set-top boxes and cable receivers
- Specific media players designed with dual HDMI + AV outputs
